Observing stars, planets and constellations through a telescope is a dream shared by students, parents and teachers alike. The Orbiting Stars is here to make that dream come true at affordable prices, bringing powerful telescopes and binoculars right to your premises.
With the experience of hundreds of sky-observation sessions across cities and villages, Hemal Shah & Team also hold an interactive session with students and other participants, explaining the wonders of the Universe and answering their questions about astronomy.

Book a SessionExplore ProgramsEach evening session is held on your premises after dark, led by an experienced observer, and tuned to the age and curiosity of the group.
Hands-on, story-driven sessions for students. Spot the Moon’s craters and planets, learn constellations, and ask every question you can think of.
Longer sessions for curious minds: star clusters, nebulae, galaxies and the science behind telescopes, optics and observation techniques.
A relaxed evening for families and neighbours. Step up to the eyepiece, enjoy the view and meet your cosmic neighbourhood together.
Beyond the telescope, I can plan an interactive session for your group: a short talk, questions from the audience and time at the eyepiece, shaped around your audience and your goals.

Hello, I’m Hemal Shah, Founder of The Orbiting Stars.
Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam once inspired us to “Think Beyond Earth.” These three simple words carry a profound message, encouraging us to look beyond our own world and wonder about the planets, stars, galaxies, and countless mysteries of the Universe.
Astronomy and Space Science have always been my passion. I am fascinated by understanding how the Universe works, not just at the surface level, but by exploring the fundamental principles that govern it, right down to the atomic and subatomic levels. I believe that the deeper we understand the science behind the Universe, the more we begin to appreciate its extraordinary beauty and complexity.
This passion for Astronomy, combined with my desire to educate, inspire, and nurture curiosity among students and people of all ages, led me to establish The Orbiting Stars.
Through this initiative, our goal is to bring the wonders of the Universe closer to people through guided sky observation programmes, offering opportunities to explore celestial objects and experience the night sky firsthand, and interactive question-and-answer sessions on Astronomy, where curiosity is encouraged, questions are welcomed, and scientific concepts are explained in an engaging and accessible manner. Through these activities, we aim to make Astronomy and Space Science more accessible, engaging, and meaningful, inspiring people to observe, question, explore, and discover the cosmos.
Because sometimes, all it takes is a curious mind and the courage to think beyond Earth.
Simple for you, unforgettable for your audience.
